Fundamental Manufacturing Processes
This DVD examines two primary types of punch presses, single-station and turret, with an emphasis on the turret punch press. You'll learn how to determine the length and width of a workpiece and the size of the hole, and how die size affects the condition of the hole and tool life. You'll find out how the ram, speed of workpiece positioning, and thickness of material affect the strokes per minute (SPM). The most common punch tip configurations will be explored.
